This latest round of endorsements, which includes the Sacramento County Young Democrats and Sunrise Movement Sacramento, adds further momentum to Maple’s campaign.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Adding further momentum to a yearlong campaign, Caity Maple today shared that Assemblymember Ash Kalra (D-San Jose), who is Chair of the Assembly Committee on Labor and Employment and chairs the California Progressive Caucus, has endorsed her run for Sacramento City Council, District 5.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Adding further union support and collaboration, Caity Maple today shared that the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 1021, which represents nearly 60,000 employees in local governments, non-profit agencies, health care programs and schools throughout Northern California, has endorsed her run for Sacramento City Council, District 5. All told, three major Sacramento region unions – collectively representing nearly 95,000 individuals – now back Maple.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Caity Maple’s campaign today announced that the United Domestic Workers of America, UDW/AFSCME Local 3930 has endorsed Caity for Sacramento City Council, District 5.
